Loch Leven Castle Day Trip

Full Day (~6 hours)£363 up to 6 people

≈ £60.50/person for a full group of 6

  • 4 hours free at the loch to explore at your own pace

Isle of Skye Adventure

Isle of Skye Adventure

Very Long Day (14-15 hours)from £420 up to 6 people

Iconic landscapes, fairy pools, bridges, and waterfalls - paced comfortably for families with plenty of rest stops. Honest heads-up: Skye is a genuinely long single-day trip from Edinburgh - most of it is driving, so consider an overnight stay if you'd rather not do it in one day.

  • Typical driving time from Edinburgh: approx. 5 hr 15 min to Portree, approx. 5 hr 45 min to the Fairy Pools, each way - actual time varies with traffic, weather and single-track roads on Skye
  • Very early departure (pre-dawn in summer) and a late return - this is a long day in the vehicle with a few hours on Skye itself, not a relaxed sightseeing day
  • Fairy Pools - a scenic walk to the crystal-clear waterfalls, free to visit (car park ~£8, higher rate for tour/minibus vehicles) - proper shoes recommended
  • Old Man of Storr - one of Skye's most photographed rock formations, free to visit (car park £6 up to 6 hrs / £8 up to 12 hrs)
  • Kilt Rock & Mealt Falls - a waterfall that drops straight into the sea, free to visit (car park £3 up to 2 hrs)
  • Comfortable pacing with rest stops built in - but given the driving time, this suits fitter travellers better than an overnight Skye stay would
  • Prefer not to do it in a day? Ask about a 2-day Skye trip with an overnight stay instead - same private vehicle, much less time on the road each day
