Terms of Service

1. Services

Scotland Saathi provides taxi, tour, and travel advisory services in Edinburgh and across Scotland. All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason.

2. Bookings & Payment

• For a new tour, select and customise a route in our itinerary planner, then send the completed enquiry. Airport transfers and existing booking support are available through our contact page. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking.
• Exact pricing is confirmed before the service is provided. No hidden charges.
• Tours: 15% deposit in advance, with the balance due before the trip starts. Bank transfer, cash and card are accepted.
• Tours require at least 14 days’ notice. Published tour prices include VAT. All tours start in Edinburgh or Edinburgh Airport. A different final drop-off is possible only by prior agreement.

3. Cancellations

• For tours cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled start, the 15% deposit is retained.
• Date changes depend on availability and existing bookings.
• Please obtain the complete cancellation and refund terms before paying, including cancellations earlier than 48 hours.
• Unsafe weather or road conditions may cause a tour to change or be cancelled. Full or partial refunds depend on the circumstances and services delivered; the applicable arrangements will be explained. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

4. Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure safety and comfort, Scotland Saathi is not liable for:

• Delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• Loss or damage to personal belongings during transit.
• Injuries sustained during tours or walks, unless caused by our negligence.
• Third-party services (restaurants, attractions, accommodation) recommended by us.

5. Website Content

Our blog posts, guides, and recommendations are provided for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, prices, opening hours, and availability may change. Always verify directly with businesses before visiting.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on indiansinscotland.com — including text, images, and design — is our property unless otherwise noted. You may share our content with attribution and a link back to our site. Commercial use requires written permission.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Scottish courts.
