Detailed Day-by-Day Itineraries

3-Day Edinburgh Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival & Royal Mile: Book our taxi from Edinburgh Airport (£35 to city centre). Drop bags, then walk the Royal Mile — Edinburgh Castle (£19.50), St Giles' Cathedral (free), Scotch Whisky Experience (£18). Lunch at an Indian restaurant on Nicolson Street (£12–18 for thali). Evening: Arthur's Seat hike for sunset (free). Dinner on Leith Walk (£10–15).

Day 2 — Old Town & Museums: National Museum of Scotland (free), Greyfriars Kirkyard (free), then Calton Hill for panoramic views (free). Bus day ticket £5. Lunch at a dosa spot (£8–12). Afternoon exploring the Grassmarket and Victoria Street.

Day 3 — Day Trip or Leith: Option A: Rosslyn Chapel (£9.50). Option B: Leith waterfront with Royal Yacht Britannia (£17.50). Final Indian meal before our taxi back to the airport (£35).

5-Day Itinerary — Add the Highlands

Days 1–3: Follow the Edinburgh itinerary above.

Day 4 — Glencoe: Depart Edinburgh 8 AM. Drive through the Trossachs National Park, stop at Callander for chai. Reach Glencoe by midday — the Three Sisters viewpoint is breathtaking. Indian food stop in Fort William. Return by evening. Our Highlands day tour covers this route with an Indian-speaking guide (£220 for the day, up to 4 people).

Day 5 — Loch Lomond & Stirling: Loch Lomond boat cruise (£15), walk through Luss village, then Stirling Castle (£17.50). Back to Edinburgh by evening.

7-Day Grand Scotland Tour

Days 1–2: Edinburgh highlights (see 3-day plan).

Day 3: Stirling Castle, then drive to Glencoe. Overnight in Fort William. Indian dinner at Raj Indian Cuisine.

Day 4: Drive to Isle of Skye. Fairy Pools, Old Man of Storr, Portree harbour. Overnight in Portree B&B. Indian food at Taste of India Skye.

Day 5: More Skye — Neist Point, Dunvegan Castle. Afternoon drive back via Eilean Donan Castle.
